Clear pricing. No surprises.
The first consultation is free. The paid design stage is a professional, detailed service — not a sales drawing. Here is exactly what things cost and what you get.
The design fee
One transparent fee covers the complete independent design service. It is the stage where costly mistakes are prevented and the whole project takes shape — the best money you will spend on your kitchen.
Why pay, when retailers design for free?
A free retailer design exists to sell that retailer’s range. An independent design exists to get your kitchen right. Professional, impartial design prevents unsuitable choices, repeated redesigns and hidden extras — and typically pays for itself many times over.
Included with Beau Bijou
Revisions included, independent supplier choice included, honest advice included. Elsewhere, amendments can be chargeable and the “choice” is one company’s catalogue.
“The recommendations saved me a lot of money.”
What do kitchens actually cost?
Project cost depends on the room, the specification and your priorities — we have delivered from under £5,000 to over £100,000. In the free consultation we will give you an honest steer on what your brief really needs.
Finance
Three years interest-free credit is available with a 20% deposit on selected kitchen products (worktops and appliances may be excluded). Ask us for current terms and eligibility — full details are confirmed in writing before you commit.
Finance is subject to status and affordability. Terms, eligibility and product scope to be confirmed before publication. Beau Bijou Design Limited is a credit broker, not a lender.
Pricing questions, answered
When do I pay the design fee?
Only when you choose to move from the free consultation into the full design stage. The first conversation never costs anything.
How many revisions are included?
We revise the design until it is right for you — that is the point of independent design, and it is included in the fee.
Am I tied to your recommended supplier?
No. We recommend the best fit from vetted options; the decision is always yours, and your design remains yours.
What deposit do I pay on a kitchen order?
Deposits vary by supplier and product; every figure is confirmed in your itemised quotation before you commit to anything.
What if I decide not to proceed after the design?
Then you have paid for a professional design service and you keep the value of that work. There is never pressure to place an order.
Start with a free, no-obligation conversation
Remember — you never pay the design fee just to talk to us. The first conversation is free, and it exists to establish whether we can genuinely help.
